Thomas Centner

Director, Sales & Technical Marketing,EFW

Thomas is Director Sales & Marketing Aircraft Conversions at EFW - Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (Dresden/Germany), the freighter conversion and MRO arm within Airbus, since 2012 in joint venture with ST Aerospace of Singapore.

Having graduated from the University of Technology in Dresden in Mechanical Engineering Thomas joined EFW in 2008. He is responsible for sales and marketing for the A330P2F and A320/A321P2F passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programs mainly in the Asia-Pacific region.

Before his appointment to EFW he worked for an automotive Tier 1 supplier as Key-Account Manager. At University Projects he joined research teams for alternative hydrogen and electric power train system development projects at BMW and Daimler supplemented by a master thesis in 3D-printing in cooperation with the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

Wang Yang

Regional Marketing Director, Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Mr. Wang Yang joined Boeing in 2007 as Regional Marketing Director covering North East Asia region, responsible for marketing and analysing work to support BCA’s sales in the region.

Prior his current position, Mr. Wang Yang has also held several other positions in Boeing, including Operational Support Engineer, team leader for ATC R&D and commercial operation. 

Before that, Mr. Wang Yang worked in the North China Regional Administration of Air Traffic Management Bureau of CAAC(ATMB) for 5 years.

Mr. Wang obtained Bachelor degree in Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and MBA degree in City University of Seattle MBA


This panel will invite OEM representatives to share their observations on air cargo and freighter market development trends, as well as elaborate the current and future freighter types and P2F programmes in terms of aircraft specs, orders, customer base and partnerships respectively.
